That’s right, we found an app that will pay you to take pictures of your receipts. The Ibotta app will pay you cash to take a picture of your receipts unlocking cash bonuses.

2. Download the mobile app (ios or android)
3. When you open the app you should see lots of different rebates to take advantage of. For example, right now the app is offering me $1.00 if I upload a picture of a receipt showing that I bought milk. Some more examples are a $5 rebate for shopping at Best Buy, and a $1 rebate for buying a movie ticket.
4. Ibotta will credit your account with $10 after your first successful rebate (I did mine with a loaf of bread I bought)
Of course you wouldn’t want to go on a shopping spree buying only items that have rebates, but I think you’ll find a ton of rebates on things you normally buy. Whats awesome is you can use this on top of discounts you are already getting like when using coupons or cashback/reward cards. Some savvy shoppers will be able to stack and get things completely free.
